I had THE BEST entertainment today.
-In between my squats a guy comes and takes my weight, puts it on his back and starts hopping on his toes with it. He ended up doing this for 4 sets. "Yes, you can work in with me."
-In between my high pulls a guy comes, takes my weight, picks it up and presses it overhead 1x and then racks it. I have to clap at him as he starts to walk away to get his attention to tell him to put it back down to the floor.
These people are so funny. In China there is no sense of "this is mine" or personal space or "bubbles". Everything is just about fair game. People will come take my 2.5Kg plates without asking, if they're lying on the floor (b/c I know I'm going to put them on the bar for the next set). Drives me up the wall, but I just have to go with it. China's nutzo.
I'm pretty stoked about my squatting. I was looking at the chart in my WODBOOK and if 75Kg is 87%, that means, theoretically, I should be able to do a 1RM at 86Kg (189.2#)! I can't do %'s b/c I can only go at 5Kg (11#) increments. So I guess we'll see when PR time comes for Back Squat. Chee!
